Wow, What A Conference! I love to hear from all the wonderful leaders we have!
I found that there was a large call to action this time. We need to step up on our Home Teaching, Fellow-shipping, scripture reading, and praying.
I found so many great things in the priesthood session, if you didn’t get a chance to see it you really should. I was very impressed with what was said. I would like to share a few thoughts before I rest my head this night and say that I am so grateful for leaders that really are trying to help us to be better. The very first thing that was mentioned was to better fulfill our priesthood calling of Home Teaching. We need to be a better friend, really love the families we are assigned. They are in our care, physically and spiritually. We need to open our eyes and our hearts to receive the prompting that the spirit gives us to help those we are serving.
The other thing that caught my attention from conference was we are to do the very best we can to obey, or to act on the promptings we are given. Then we need to find ways to improve on that and then to keep moving forward with more intent. This applies to prayer, service, scripture study, and many more actives we find our selves in.
I was very grateful for the President Monson’s address. He told us that it is very important to keep our bodies healthy and fit, both in mind and spirit. I am so grateful for the word of wisdom. For those principles will really help us to live the most healthiest life. Giving us every opportunity to be the person the Lord wants us to be.
I love this gospel, I know that the words of the prophets are real, they are the guiding star we can align with for they point us the Savior of the world. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, I am so grateful for the truth of the restored gospel and what it has brought to the world we live in today.
