This week I have had such a great week!
So here are the events.

  1. I was driving onto the freeway and all of a sudden a column of smoke billows out of my car! So I pull over and assess the situation. There was coolant spilling out of the car. I couldn’t even see where I was going because it was so thick.
  2. Some of my children have gotten strep, and have exhibited scarlet fever in connection to that.
  3. Two of my immediate family members went to the hospital, one for seizure and the other for a heart attack.
  4. One of my younger children have been to the hospital for a sliced ear and tendon being pulled out of position.
  5. I am trying to understand how to have better relationships with people around me. Which hasn’t been going as well as I would have hoped.
And all of these things happened this week, or two ago.
So here are working on my car. I decided to take the chance and replace the radiator myself. Oh My! I don’t know if I should have done that, but I did. It was a bit of a challenge. The radiator didn’t really come out that well. And all the connections were in the most awkward places. But I did eventually get it done.
My children seem to be recovering well, but that has been challenging because they really don’t like being home sick. They want to play but my wife and I tell them they need to stay home it’s as if all he’ll breaks loose. But we are still in the trenches fighting the battle.
I feel really blessed however in all this mess because I feel like the Lord has made it possible to understand the situation and to overcome it. The information that I have listened to and read from life has really been a great blessing for me. I have been able to make small steps to mend or create great relationships. It hasn’t been easy but we have learned lots! LIFE has given me courage and determination to do the hard things. We saved close to 300 dollars because I decided to do it myself. LIFE is such a fantastic community I have been so blessed to know the wonderful people that uplift me, de-stress me and encourage me to achieve the best that I can be. I am so blessed that through all these challenges I have been able to read from the Financial Fitness Program and to understand some of the principles to save and to gather up. That spiritually and financially we have not had to use ways that might have caused us to go into debt.
This I am so grateful for, I couldn’t do without!

Until next time keep smiling even when it seems the world around you is trying to take everything around you, Keep Smiling!
